There are a number of geographical traceroute utilities that try to map the geographical locations of routers. A good example of a geographical traceroute is NeoTrace from Neoworx. The image below shows NeoTrace running a trace from my office in central London to Mappa Mundi magazine based in Redwood City, California. NeoTrace can also show trace results as a listing and a performance chart. ( http://cybergeography.com)
