Find bellow detailed information to manage the tool-function properly!
First of all: Click the tool-window to be sure to activate the tool-menu.

This section is the main part of the +TOOL+ !
Here you can find the grafical interpretation of the users´realtime-presence of
www.ip-3.org (right now you can see a simulation), building the virtual world of IP-III by decoding their ip-addresses into coordinates in space.

Once we will be attached to a festival-server (logfiles) you will here be able to watch the text-based information of the section "mesh".

Once we will be attached to a festival-server (logfiles) you will here be able to watch the timelabs-process / IP-III of each last 5 hours.

With this slider you are able to zoom in and out of the spacial construction of IP-III.

By clicking "locate me" your own coordinate in space will be located.

By clicking "server" the festival-server`s coordinate in space will be located.

By clicking "reset" you can reset the zoomfactor to zero.
The camera will also focus the "coordinate on space " of the server-IP.

With this button you are able to switch on/off the small "ip-flags".

This text-field shows how many users are online at the moment.

These screenshots show you differnet IP-III-stages.
Depending on the frequency and the users´ habits you will see more/less coordinates in space - building the virtual space of IP-III. You are able to switch on /off the IP-flags or to zoom into the net-structure.
The more you zoom into the "object" the more you will realize the object as "environment".

This sequence shows 5 steps of the upcoming wireframe.
By adding one point (coordinate in space) to another and by joining three of them to a surface a dynamical stripe is arising, which looks really "flat" in this case - //but in our case it is much easier to explain the virtual strucures by 2dimensional scetches.

By clicking on the small ip-flags of the coordniates in space, you are able to jump from one ip-number to the next.

There are three different ways to go: By the the choice of ip-numbers themselves, by their counting-numbers (increasing appearance) of the online-users, or by their geografical location /country.
You can click on the highlighted areas to open a pop-up-submenue, where you can choose between all users. By jumping from one point (online-user) to the next one the spatial environment moves automatically to the new position. In this way you are able, to find detailed spatial infomation about the other users.
But of course you can move throught the virtual space by your own. In this case use the zoom-slider and the drag-and-drop function for rotation.
